About Me

As a product manager

With four years of product management experience across two distinct periods, my versatile background in product design, UX, research, business operations, and data analysis has helped me bring a holistic, user-centered, and data-informed approach to managing products.

As a curious, compassionate people person, I cultivate relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders to create the type of collaboration that amplifies results across the whole organization.

As a designer

Since 2015 I've designed web and mobile products. I am an expert at transforming user insights into goal-driven design deliverables that improve the end-to-end user experience. Whether synthesizing strategic research, communicating product vision, or producing interactive prototypes, I strived to inspire others through my passion and dedication to excellence.

How I got here

Back when I worked at Yammer, and then Microsoft, I was designing analytics and reporting systems with my eye solely on the business. Then one day, I had the good fortune to be invited to a user research meeting. It was my first introduction to UX and designing with the user front of mind. I was hooked.

Since then I have been fortunate for experiences that helped me grow as a designer, researcher, and product manager for many organizations.

My work at Turner Construction and SKUR Inc. challenged me to design products in 3D and improvise with new methods and design tools.

My work with Stamen, USCF Osher Center, Palo Alto University, and Paul Ekman LLC, helped me develop personally as I helped them design and manage products for emotional intelligence.

I honed my service design and user research skills when I worked with Mandel Communications, Be Great LLC, and Claude Stein to create new offerings in communication and leadership training.

My work for Flipcause rallied all of my previous experience together as I helped influence the product vision and direction and mentored junior designers. The opportunity to use my talents to give back to an underserved but vital sector in our society has been gratifying.

At PG&E, I transitioned back into product management after realizing I could make a bigger impact on transforming technology-focused organizations into a product operating model in the PM role. It's been a heavy lift but totally worth it.

Personal life

I work a lot! But when I make time for other things I'm usually doing something on this list:

  • Catching up with friends
  • Taking care of the elders in my family
  • Playing with my nieces and nephews
  • Trail running in Marin County
  • Taking performing arts classes, especially dance classes
  • Practicing piano and guitar
  • Honing my prompt skills and experimenting with new AI tools
  • Traveling somewhere new and learning about the people who live there
  • Walking into spaces and raising the bar of engagement and enjoyment for everyone!
